This website provides access to information related to the Santa Cruz Fungus Fair including historical information about past fairs and information about the next Fungus Fair.

The Santa Cruz Fungus Fair is an annual event sponsored by the Santa Cruz City Museum of Natural History and the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz. The Fungus Fair was started in 1975 by the museum and David Arora. In 1993 the Fungus Federation became responsible for the artistic design, programs and mushroom identification at the fair. The museum provides the site for the fair, handles advertising and funding.

The 2003 Fungus Fair is still in the planning stages. If tradition holds it will be Jan. 10-Jan. 12, 2002 at the Louden Nelson Community Center, 301 Center St., Santa Cruz, CA.
